Rev. Brett M. Dinger

Pastor Brett has been serving as a United Methodist Pastor since July 2009. During his ministry, Brett led the formation of a new cooperative parish and the cultivation of Connect Church, a new place for new people. Prior to full-time ministry, Brett was active in his home church (Ohl UMC) before serving as a youth pastor in Brookville. He graduated from Brookville Area High School and Slippery Rock University, with a degree in Community Programs for Americans with Disabilities. After college, Brett attended Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and is a graduate of the Lewis Fellows, a leadership cohort offered through Wesley Theological Seminary.
Brett’s ministry passions include preaching, teaching, small group ministry and leadership development. Brett loves to come alongside and empower leaders to fulfill their God-given callings and dreams, even if it means taking big, risky leaps of faith. Additionally, Brett is active with Cherry Run, a family-oriented church camp and serves on the District Committee on Ministry and Conference Board of Ordained Ministry.
If you can’t find Brett doing any of the above mentioned ministries, there’s a good chance he’s either taking a nap, watching one of our local sports teams or enjoying his beloved family. Speaking of which, Brett is accompanied in ministry and life by his best friend and wife Joanna and their joy-filled daughters Reagan and Carmyn.
